I am an IT professional who always wanted to bake. Whenever I baked my cakes never came out right. At times I felt like giving it up but that baker inside me never allowed me to give it up. I can confidently say that this course has not let me down in terms of what I expected out of it. Our instructor was so patient in teaching us all the techniques and encouraged us to try everything, make mistakes and get back to him with our doubts. I'm Swahini Bansod from Nagpur. I'm a teacher by profession. I liked baking, but only as a hobby. I like to bake only during festivals and special occasions. In 2020, I lost my teaching job due to the pandemic. During the lockdown, I could see myself baking too often. My cousin has a small shop for daily needs. I started keeping a few baked goods, like cupcakes and doughnuts, for sale. People liked it. Then I went ahead and started keeping it regularly. During those times, I also provided a lot of baked goods for the needy. That gave me more joy in baking. I also registered FSSAI. In the meantime, I came across baking classes by Alippo. The first course that I did with Alippo was five days of baking classes. When I did the first course, I learned so many things about baking techniques. After that, I did many other short courses like cookies, doughnuts, puffs, pies, etc. In July, I came to know that Alippo has introduced a Premium Baking Course as well. I joined the course, and it has equipped me more. I was able to understand things like the role of ingredients, methods, and techniques. I have been a single parent with three children. I used to be a full-time service In the private sector and retired to start my work on my own. I began Aunty's Home and Kitchen in 2019, to continue earning. I started a paying guest accommodation and tutor small kids. Meanwhile, I had this interest in baking and baked only for family, friends and guests. Now l have been learning with Alippo since January this year and by the middle of the year, I was already selling cupcakes, muffins and cakes. Now, I am on my way to achieving my dream to be a baker. Alippo is certainly playing a huge role in helping me achieve my dream. Initially, I started as a paying guest, providing accommodation for working ladies. I used to bake only on special occasions for my home and guests. Later, I learned that handmade soaps are premium products made without harmful chemicals. So instead of selling the products without knowledge, I decided to know how it is done so that I can make or purchase quality products and sell them. Since I got introduced to the Alippo Learning Centre for multiple courses, I’ve not had a full week, having enrolled in several of the programmes.
