Required Materials

β€’ Resin

β€’ Weighing scale/measuring cup

sticks/spatula)

Steps

  1. Place the plastic sheet; keep the heart shape mould on it.
  2. Take a cup and place it on the weighing scale.
  3. Now, take the Resin and Hardener [check the ratio on it] For example, in the Resin area
  4. Resin and Hardener have a 2:1 ratio. [2 times Resin and 1-time Hardener]
  5. Take appropriate grams of Resin And Hardener (for example, I think 60 gms of resin and Hardener will be sufficient for the heart-shaped mould. Thus, according to the ratio calculate, 40gms of Resin and 20gms of Hardener]
  6. Now switch on the weighing machine, pour 40gms of resin first and 20gms of Hardener.
  7. Mix it well; see to it that there are no threads.
  8. Now, plan how you want your keychain to be. accordingly, pour small portions of resin into different cups. [I want my keychain to have flowers only so I will not segregate the resin in different cups and if you want gold flakes, take a small sheet of gold into a different cup and pour resin and mix it]
  9. Put a small portion of resin in the mould and then put the flower/flakes/pigments. Cover your artwork

Resin Earrings

Required Materials

β€’ Mask

β€’ Apron

β€’ U.V. Resin (as per the mould size)

β€’ Mini LED Lamp

β€’ Jewellery/Earring mould

β€’ Jewellery loops

β€’ Plying tool for tightening the jewellery

β€’ Real flowers (any small flowers)

β€’ Scissors

β€’ Toothpick

Steps

  1. Wear your protective gear.
  2. Using scissors cut the stems of the flowers.
  3. Use a toothpick to arrange the flowers in the mould.
  4. Arrange real flowers on the mould as per your creativity.
  5. Pour 4-6 drops of u.v. Resin on the flowers.
  6. Keep the mould under the Mini LED lamp for 10 minutes.
  7. After the 1st layer is dried, add one layer of u.v. Resin to the border of your mould cavity
  8. Let it dry under the LED lamp for 10 minutes.
  9. Check with a light touch in the corner of the earring if it is completely dried using a
    toothpick.
  10. Once ready, Put earring loops using a plying tool.
  11. Your resin earring is ready.

Resin Pendant

Required Materials

  • Gloves
  • Mask
  • Apron
  • U.V. Resin (as per bezel size)
  • Mini LED Lamp
  • Bezels
  • Jewellery loops
  • Chain
  • Plying tool for tightening the jewellery
  • Real flowers (any small flowers)
  • Cello tape/ bezel tape
  • Scissors
  • Toothpick

Steps

  1. Wear your protective gear.
  2. Place cello tape on 1 side of the bezel
  3. Pour 4-5 drops of U.V. Resin on the bezel.
  4. Using scissors cut the stems of the flowers.
  5. Use a toothpick to arrange the flowers in the bezel.
  6. Arrange real flowers on the bezel.
  7. Keep the bezel under the Mini LED lamp for 10 minutes.
  8. After the 1st layer is dried, add one layer of u.v. Resin until the bezel is filled with resin 8-9 drops
  9. Let it dry under the LED lamp for 10 minutes.
  10. Check with a light touch in the corner of the pendant if it is completely dried.
  11. Once ready, pull out the cello tape from the back.
  12. Wipe the stickiness using soap water.
  13. Put loops using a plying tool.
  14. Put the chain in the loop hook.
  15. Your resin pendant is ready.
